Jeff is a Life Sciences Consultant and a Biopharma/Cell & Gene Therapy virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) for SVA Life Sciences, a member of the SVA family of companies.
Jeff offers real world experience delivering strategic business and IT solutions that allow a small Life Sciences company the ability to efficiently scale and operate. He ultimately provide strategic leadership to help the company commercialize their first product candidate.
Early on in an engagement, Jeff works with both the business and IT leaders to discern what is or will be needed to create a robust and nimble enterprise. He is adept at generating the intra-dependent cooperation that will lead the team to delivering measurable results, both on time and on budget.
He has personally witnessed the positive effects of sponsoring exceptional team leadership, staff development, and creating strong partnerships between clients and vendors. Jeff has worked with small IT budgets supporting emerging capabilities and can easily empathize to the innumerable challenges that arise. He is well versed in partnering with Biopharma leadership teams, integrating fit-for-purpose logistics systems, and discerning constraints related to Phase I, II and III clinical trials. Jeff enjoys pitching in to get the work done because he knows what it means to be a “small team”.
Jeff has a diverse background as a business practitioner in Materials Management, Master Scheduling, Warehouse Management, and Supply Chain Management and Procurement. In addition, he has extensive ERP, MES, and CRM implementation experience while leading global programs.
Jeff spent 5 years of increasing responsibility at the computer printer manufacturer Dataproducts Corporation, and a collection of 29 years in Life Sciences at Amgen, Kythera Biotherapeutics, Atara Biotherapeutics, and Arrowhead Pharma before joining SVA.
