Transformational Journey | SVA Consulting

Transformational Journey

Companies facing organizational change go through a sort of emotional period. This emotion is built off people having different awareness of information about the change. Those in the know have a sense of where they are going and those who are not have a fear of the unknown.

To help leaders navigate a period of change, the organization should understand and believe there is a structured path of where they are going, essentially the unknown becomes the known. It’s important to relay the message that there is a structured way for the change to happen and the business will be successful by following that path.

This takes the fear of the unknown and diminishes it, allowing people to open their minds and embrace the journey that is in front of them. Now those employees are actively part of the journey. They are part of the change. This results in every team member being participatory in making the change happen, not fearful of what’s to come.

These changes can come in a multitude of forms – digital transformation, financial transformation, or business style transformation, to name a few. These can be big changes. But one of the most prominent ones is the transformation from research and development into a commercial entity. In this change, new thinkers come in and the path sometimes does not feel laid out right in front.

SVA Consulting gives these organizations a structured way of making that transformation, taking the fear out of the unknown. Giving a path, even if it is not followed exactly, can lead to higher repeatability.
