Discover the Power Within: Acumatica's 2023 R2 Release

Curious about the latest developments in Acumatica 2023 R2? Acumatica’s 2023 R2 release offers increased intelligent technology, best-in-class applications to drive growth, and tailored industry capabilities so you can win in your market.

New Features of Acumatica's 2023 R2 Release

Mobile Enhancements

The mobile app has received significant improvements, especially in navigation and sorting options. The update addresses past challenges with sorting lists and inquiries and introduces a new “sort by” function.

This enhancement makes it easier for users to manage time entries, expense entries, and approval processes directly from their mobile devices. The app leverages the phone's native features, improving the overall mobile user experience.

Bank Feeds Enhancements

The update has significantly improved the bank feeds feature, facilitating seamless data import from banking institutions into Acumatica. This is achieved through integration with Plaid or MX, offering custom mapping rules for more efficient transaction processing.

Additionally, a test bank feed environment has been added, allowing users to safely experiment with transaction imports without impacting active accounts.

AP Document Recognition Enhancements

The AP document recognition feature now includes branch selection for incoming documents, allowing users to assign documents to the correct branch easily.

This update also introduces the capability to read multi-line labels and enhanced date locale recognition, streamlining the invoice processing workflow.

Introduction of Acumatica Payments

Perhaps the most significant addition in this release is Acumatica Payments. This integrated feature supports a range of payment options, including credit cards, loyalty programs, and mobile payments. It is designed to facilitate customer self-service in invoice payments, offering integration with commerce, mobile, and portal interfaces.

A notable feature is the QR code on invoices, allowing customers to make payments directly from their mobile devices.
