A significant limitation was its inability to multitask — a user running a report had to wait for its completion before proceeding to another task, leading to delays and reduced productivity. Furthermore, the system's restricted use to the accounting department highlighted the need for a more inclusive solution that could empower various department leaders and key stakeholders.

SVAC and CH Coakley worked together to nail down short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals, and decided to use Acumatica software, largely because of its scalability and customization capabilities. The project module in particular has proven to be an efficient way to keep track of job costing. The team is now able to estimate, plan, and evaluate project profitability right from the outset, with the flexibility to adapt as projects progress.

Throughout implementation and onboarding, SVAC’s focus was on what CH Coakley needed the software to do, how it would be used, and what was needed to help them grow and be more efficient.
