SVA Consulting is proud to congratulate Nora Dobos, recipient of this year’s Founder’s Award, presented at the firm’s annual meeting.
The Founder’s Award celebrates the people who bring SVA Consulting’s values to life every day. First awarded in 2019, the award honors the legacy of SVA Consulting founder John Baltes and recognizes individuals who reflect the character, habits, and leadership that continue to shape the firm’s culture. Recipients are nominated by their colleagues, with the winner selected by Principal voting.
This award recognizes team members who demonstrate the values known as “John-isms,” including Integrity/Character, Humble, Servant Leader, Commitment and Discipline, Inspire Trust, and Make No Excuses.
Nora was recognized for her servant leadership and humility, consistently demonstrating a willingness to support others, share credit, and put the success of the team first. Colleagues described Nora as someone who gives her time generously, finds joy in helping others grow and succeed, and leads from behind to lift others up.
“Nora represents the heart of this award,” said Bryan Bechtoldt, President and Principal of SVA Consulting. “She leads with humility, serves others with sincerity, and makes the people around her better. Her commitment to her teammates, our clients, and our culture is a powerful example of what it means to live SVA Consulting’s values every day.”
This year’s Founder’s Award nominees included Brady Bloomer, Jon Rosene, Tera McCulloch, Myranda Kotlowski, and Logan Schindhelm. Each nominee was recognized for the unique and meaningful ways they live SVA Consulting’s values and make a positive impact on the firm.
