A Vision for More Efficient Resource Management

Franklin Energy was founded in 1994 in a converted church on Lake Michigan. Its founder worked for a utility and he observed the roadblocks they faced in helping people use resources more efficiently. He saw the challenges program managers were up against in meeting their goals.

Outgrowing Manual Financial Processes

As the company grew and acquired other related businesses , it needed a new platform that was flexible and scalable. This was necessary to give their Financial Analysts the focused time needed to forecast and report efficiently.

Implementing a Scalable Financial Planning Platform

SVA helped implement a SaaS solution with Adaptive Insights that enables the Financial Analysts to create detailed bottom-up budgets and forecasts with real-time consolidation and easy variance analysis through reporting.

It included a complex Labor Allocation Model, with hours assigned to multiple programs, allocation rates versus actual rates for current employees and open positions. Franklin Energy had a vision. SVA realized it.
